Water Supply

The main activities of the Water Supply Services include:

  • Water Supply for Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, and Other Uses

Supply of drinking water to all premises within the water supply boundaries, with charges based on water usage.

Water Supply Areas

Municipalities:
  • Limassol
  • Kato Polemidia
  • Amathus – Municipal districts/communities of Ayios Tychonas, Armenochori, and Akrounta, as well as the coastal areas of Parekklisia, Pyrgos, and Moni.
  • Kourion – Municipal districts/communities of Asomatos, Trachoni, Akrotiri, Erimi, Kolossi, Episkopi, Kantou, and Sotira.
Communities:
  • Fasoula, Mathikoloni, Pano Polemidia, Palodia, Mouttagiaka, Tserkez Tsiflik, and Phinikaria.
Water Tariffs

The water supply fees and charges applied by the EOA Lemesos are as follows:

Each consumer must provide the following:

  1. For individuals (natural persons):
    • Identity card or passport.
    • If renting a property, the EOA Lemesos may request a rental agreement.
  1. For legal entities (companies):
    • Company stamp.
    • Certificate of Incorporation.
    • Shareholders' Certificate.
    • Registered Office Certificate.
    • Director and Secretary Certificate.

  • Water Supply for Firefighting

A network of fire hydrants is installed along all water mains, ensuring water availability for the Fire Service and the Department of Forests whenever required.

  • Water Consumption Recording and Fee Collection

Water consumption is recorded every four months, with billing and fee collection available at the Board’s offices and online.

  • Installation of Domestic Water Connections

Upon consumer request and payment of the applicable charges, the EOA Lemesos proceeds with the installation of domestic water connections in accordance with the Board’s terms and Regulations.

  • Expansion of Water Mains

The EOA Lemesos undertakes the expansion of the water supply network following applications from owners of new land parcels (e.g., plot subdivisions), with the owners covering the relevant fees and construction costs.

  • Pipeline and Water Meter Repairs & Maintenance

The EOA Lemesos maintains and repairs the water supply network daily, using appropriate materials (excavation, repair, and reinstatement of excavations) and replaces/maintains existing water meters where necessary.

  • Water Supply to Ships at Limassol Port

The EOA Lemesos supplies Limassol Port with drinking water through its onsite team (operating during regular hours and, where possible, overtime, subject to restrictions), upon request from the shipping agent of each ship arriving at the Port.
