Fees

Water Fees and Charges of the Limassol District Local Government Organisation

Annual sewerage and stormwater fees

These fees apply to the estimated property values, which the Sewerage Board of Limassol-Amathus charged until 30 June 2024.

According to the Limassol District Local Government Organisation Law 37(I)/2022, sewerage and stormwater fees are imposed based on the general property valuation, as determined by the Department of Lands and Surveys, as follows:

  • 1991-2016: Based on property valuation as of 1 January 1980
  • 2017-2019: Based on property valuation as of 1 January 2013
  • 2020-2022: Based on property valuation as of 1 January 2018
  • 2023-2024: Based on property valuation as of 1 January 2021

The imposed sewerage fees include both wastewater and stormwater fees.

If you disagree with the estimated property value as shown on your bill, please contact the Limassol District Land Registry Office for further investigation.

The fee rates are set by Regulations, which are submitted and approved by the Parliament and announced in the Official Gazette of the Republic and three daily newspapers.

Surcharges

The final due date for 2024 fees is 13 December 2024.

According to Article 90 of the Limassol District Local Government Organisation Law 37(I)/2022, failure to pay the current year’s fees within the set due date indicated on your bill will result in an additional surcharge on the outstanding amount. A 5% surcharge applies if the amount is paid within four months after the due date, while a 15% surcharge applies if the payment is made more than four months after the due date.

Annual sewerage fee bills are sent exclusively via email to property owners whose properties fall within the Organisation’s jurisdiction. Each property owner receives a separate bill. If you have not updated your billing details or require assistance in doing so, please contact the Organisation’s offices.

Water supply fees for ships

From 1 January 2017

The price of water supplied to ships within the Limassol Port is set at €5 per cubic metre (m³), with a connection fee of €20.

Overtime charges are calculated based on the actual labour costs of EOA Lemesos staff at the port.

Overtime charges, as listed below, are proportionally reduced depending on the number of ships being supplied simultaneously.

  • Weekdays after 3:30 PM: €40 per hour
  • Weekends and public holidays: €55 per hour

Additionally, for naval vessels that remain connected to an EOA Lemesos meter for more than 48 hours without consuming water, a daily connection fee of €5 applies.

These services may be extended until 8:00 PM, with overtime charges applicable after 3:30 PM.

For water supply to your vessel, please contact the EOA Lemesos crew at Limassol Port in advance at +357-99343278.

Requests for water supply after 3:30 PM, on weekends, and on public holidays should be submitted in advance (along with all necessary details) via the EOA Lemesos website – Contact Form or via fax at +357-25271900 for review.

To ensure the most cost-effective pricing (especially for ships requiring a small-diameter supply), agents should arrange for water supply during regular working hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM), when no additional overtime charges apply.

Payments are accepted only at EOA Lemesos offices, located at Franklin Roosevelt Avenue 66-76, P.O. Box 50225, 3602 Limassol.
