The Licensing Directorate of EOA Lemesos continues to carry out its mission with consistency and professionalism, facilitating development in the city and district of Limassol while ensuring transparency and the protection of the public interest.
Since the establishment of the District Development Agencies in July 2024, EOA Limassol has achieved significant progress in the management of licensing applications. Specifically, by September 2025, approximately 50% of the 8,500 pending applications received upon the Agency’s formation have been processed, while around 900 development applications are reviewed and completed each month.
This ongoing effort is also reflected in the recent data published by the Statistical Service, according to which the Limassol District recorded a 13.7% increase in the total area of licensed projects during the first half of 2025, compared to the corresponding period of 2024.
This positive trend highlights the district’s dynamic growth, as well as the coordinated efforts of all involved public and private stakeholders to promote development with respect for the environment, safety, and citizens’ quality of life.
EOA Lemesos remains committed to further simplifying procedures, accelerating the licensing process, and enhancing service delivery for citizens and industry professionals, thereby contributing substantially to the growth of both the local and national economy.
