💧 Replacement of Water Supply Pipelines in Limassol – Ariel Area
In July 2026, the Limassol District Local Government Organisation (EOA) commenced works for the replacement of water supply pipelines in an area of Limassol, where the network is ageing and experiencing an increased number of faults.
The works include the installation of new water supply pipelines and service connections, as well as the necessary equipment, such as valves and fittings. At the same time, all required construction works are being carried out, including excavations and backfilling. Upon completion of the works, the affected asphalt road surfaces and pavements will be fully reinstated.

To date, approximately 1,200m of new water supply network have been installed on the following streets:

The objective of the project is the replacement/upgrading of the water supply network with the aim of:
• Reducing leaks and water losses in the network
• Improving the quality and continuity of the water supply
• Enhancing the reliability and resilience of the network
• Reducing faults and operating costs
The network replacement works, as well as the permanent reinstatement of the asphalt road surfaces and pavements, are being carried out by the EOA’s contractor, AN. CHRISTOU PROPERTIES & CONSTRUCTIONS LTD.
