The Limassol District Local Government Organisation informs the public that on Friday, May 15, at 09:00 a.m., a section of Patron Street in Germasogeia will be fully closed to traffic. This closure is necessary for the connection of the new Germasogeia water reservoir pipeline with the existing water supply network on the street.

The connection works are expected to be completed by Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., at which time the road will be reopened to traffic.

The affected section of the road is marked in yellow on the attached map.

A full road closure is deemed essential as the pipeline is located in the opposite traffic lane.

Please note that the construction of the Germasogeia water reservoir is in its final stages of completion, with water tank leak testesting currently in progress.
