The LDLGO informs the public that construction works for the water reservoirs in the areas of Ayios Athanasios, Kato Polemidia, Yermasogia, and Ayia Fyla are progressing as planned.

The water reservoirs supply potable water to the wider Limassol District and ensure the continuous provision of an adequate quantity and satisfactory quality of water to both residential and industrial consumers. The construction of all water reservoirs is fully funded by LDLGO.

Ayios Athanasios – Sykaminou Area

Capacity: 2,000 m³
The first chamber of the reservoir, with a capacity of 1,000 m³ (Phase 1 of construction), has been completed and put into operation. The project is now in its second phase of implementation.
Estimated completion date: March 2025

Kato Polemidia

Capacity: 2,000 m³
General excavation works and the installation of outlet and drainage pipelines beneath the foundation have been completed. The project is now in its second phase of implementation.
Estimated completion date: March 2026

Yermasoyia

Capacity: 4,000 m³
The project is in the early stages of construction.
Estimated completion date: May 2026

Ayia Fyla

Capacity: 800 m³
The project is in the early stages of construction.
