The President and the Managing Director of the Limassol District Local Government Organisation (LDLGO), Mr Yiannis Tsouloftas and Mr Socrates Metaxas respectively, along with other senior executives of the Organisation, held a meeting on Wednesday, 19 February, with a delegation from the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
The meeting was attended by the President of LCCI, Mr Andreas Tsouloftas, and members of the newly established Real Estate Sector Committee of the Chamber.
The main focus of the discussion was on issues related to licensing and development in the Limassol district, with particular emphasis on expediting the process of issuing planning and building permits. The discussion centred on examining potential measures to effectively address this issue.
The LDLGO President, Mr Yiannis Tsouloftas, reaffirmed the Organisation's commitment to addressing the concerns of LCCI representatives with due seriousness. It was agreed to enhance cooperation and coordination of actions, aiming for the swift implementation of solutions that will benefit the local economy.
