Announcement No. 172/ 2026 – Special Exemption Order 2026 Now in Force: Structural Upgrade Works in Existing Buildings
The Limassol District Local Government Organisation informs the public that, as of 10 July 2026, the Streets and Buildings Regulation (Structural Upgrade Works in Existing Buildings) Special Exemption Order 2026 has come into force.
According to the above Order, the Exemption Notification Form, which is attached as Annex I to the Order, shall be submitted to the competent authority together with the required supporting documents.
Until the implementation of the relevant function in the “Ippodamos” information system, the Exemption Notification Form shall be submitted electronically to the following email address: exeresi@eoalemesos.org.cy. Following the implementation of the relevant function in the “Ippodamos” system, the submission of exemption notifications shall be carried out exclusively through the system.
