Announcement by the Limassol District Local Government Organisation on Enhancing Online Citizen Services

With the establishment of the Organization on July 1, 2024, and the incorporation of new water supply and sewerage areas under the jurisdiction of EOA Lemesos, the number of citizens served by the Organization has significantly increased. As a result, queues and delays have been observed at the Public Service Department, particularly during peak hours.

To address this, EOA Lemesos has launched online service options, aiming to ease congestion at its offices and improve the speed of request processing. Our goal is to ensure that citizens who are genuinely unable to access digital services continue to receive prompt and personal assistance without unnecessary waiting times.

To support the transition to online services, the Organization is implementing a public awareness campaign. Informational leaflets are being mailed together with water bills to all households.

We assure you that bill payments continue to be processed as normal at the Organisation’s new customer service area, where all necessary support is provided to every citizen.

At the same time, the Organisation is actively promoting payments through alternative physical service points, which will be announced in the coming days, aiming to facilitate citizens across the entire District.

Ensuring equal and humane service for all citizens—regardless of age or digital literacy—remains a core priority for the Organisation.
